Lately I’m addicted of Advance of Z Mobile Suits series. While I’m designing the colour scheme for my RX-78-2 Gundam Titans Ver, I found this interesting site that have the whole list of Advance of Z Mobile suits, including the variations. Since it is not a very popular series, let me post a few design of TR-1 to TR-6 and spread the love.

Gundam TR-1 [Hazel] and [Hazel Rah] Second Form

Advance of Z Mobile Suits: Gundam TR-1 [Hazel]
The original Hazel is in blue colour, which means test unit. After the testing, it was painted white when Black Otter Team is listed for actual combat.
Advance of Z Mobile Suits: Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Rah] Second Form
A variation based on Advanced Hazel and G-Parts [Hrududu] x 2

Hi-Zack cannon with armor unit and TR-2 [BigWig]

Advance of Z Mobile Suits: Hi-Zack cannon with armor unit
Hi-Zack’s cannon with armor unit, core unit for TR-2 [BigWig]
Advance of Z Mobile Suits: TR-2 [BigWig]
TR-2 [BigWig], A variation based on Hi-Zack Pre-produdction type. This variation is meant for long range support.

Prototype Asshimar TR-3 [Kehaar]

Advance of Z Mobile Suits: Prototype Asshimar TR-3 [Kehaar]
Prototype of Asshimar. Later it had another version that meant for atmosphere.

Rosette and TR-4 [Dandelion]

Advance of Z Mobile Suits: TR-4 [Dandelion]
TR-4 [Dandelion] Mobile Armor mode.
Advance of Z Mobile Suits: Rosette
Core unit for Dandelion, I assume this is also the prototype of Marasai.

Gaplant TR-5 [Hrairoo] with Support Unit

Advance of Z Mobile Suits: Gaplant TR-5 [Hrairoo] with Support Unit

Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort] and Gundam TR-6 [Gaplant II]

Advance of Z Mobile Suits: Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort]
The conclusion of the testing project. Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort] served as a core unit for all the variations between TR-1 and TR-5. It can exchange parts and cater for best result in any battle field. Woundwort itself can transform into Mobile Armor form.
Advance of Z Mobile Suits: Gundam TR-6 [Gaplant II]
One of the variations of Gundam TR-6. It utilized Gaplant’s booster and Hazel’s leg unit for outstanding fighting ability.

These are just a small part of Advance of Z Mobile suits series. If you want to know more, visit mechascientific’s AOZ section for all the variations and the detail description on each of the units.

RX-78-2 Gundam Titans Ver

B-Mecha's custom colour scheme RX-78-2 Gundam Titans Ver for rockleelotus Gundam Group Build
Tada! This is B-Mecha’s custom colour scheme RX-78-2 Gundam Titans Ver for rockleelotus Gundam Group Build! I’m trying hard to make it look different from Gundam MK-II so I added more yellow on few parts to make it closer to the look and feel of Hazel.

Erm… but the question is… even I can designed the colour, there is no guarantee my Gunpla skill allow me to make it exactly the same as the pic… I’ll start playing with the Bandai HGUC RX-78-2 Gundam ver G30th soon. We shall see how it will turn out xD.

    Woah that last picture blew me away…..scratch build!!!!

    Too bad they don’t have a kit form for the last one. I don’t mind paying an MG price for a 1/144 scale of that :D

    I have the HGUC Hazel and it’s quite fun… I love it a lot surprisingly… 2 shields, that is fantastic..

    Nonetheless… Titans color of 78 cool… but I still hope to see a Ferrari Red 78…

    @rockleelotus:
    Thanks. I’ll try my best to reproduce the similar result. TR-6 doesn’t have any kit… Even if bandai release it, it will only be like 50% size of Hazel since it is only a core unit.

    @moemoekyun:
    xD I go to sleep right after this post. Dandelion inspired you to build a new kit?

    @eric johnson:
    Thank you for your interest, I will consider the service for my future projects.

    @chubbybots:
    TR-6 [gaplant II] muahaha. I’m tempted to get Gaplant, Hazel and Hazel II for part exchange @___@ I need to find my Hrududu and primrose first. I got them as Dengeki Hobby freebies, there should be 1/200 Hazel II and Kehaar as well… Need to find them in my sister’s house.

    @David John:
    Want to join our goup build project? You can build your Ferrari Red ver.

    I like your color scheme for the RX-78 :D umm, how do you change the color in that picture?
    I didn’t really follow Gundam series, but these TR’s have a really different style compared to most f the other Gundam. In my opinion it looks so much better

    You just sold me to the Titans Paint scheme, and Im really liking that Advanced Hazel with G parts

  • http://divinelight.wordpress.com divinelight

    Looking back at HGUC from Z and ZZ Gundam, I like the design, very futuristic, even it’s a long time ago.
    I played some of the MS in Dynasty Warriors: Gundam too and ZZ is one of my favourite (along with Hyaku Shiki, too bad no Akatsuki). But don’t like the character though, all UC… (maybe except Unicorn)

    @h4mster:
    I just did a tutorial for the technique I used. Check my tutorial post http://www.bmecha.com/tutorial/gundam-line-art-colouring-tutorial/

    @Gunstray:
    I only have 1 G parts… else I can make the Second form.

    @divinelight:
    Well old style characters… But some girls are cute though.

    I absolutely love the AOZ and Hazel Gundam. Its such an amazing set of designs. I realize the Hazel isn’t the most powerful of the UC Gundam MS, but in a way, that’s what draws me to it.

    The Titans Gundam is looking great! It’s available in the Ghiren’s Greed games too, if you want to check that out!

  • http://www.bmecha.com B-Mecha

    @aptkane:
    I din know it apppear in Ghiren’s Greed, but there is an old Gunpla box art of gundam titans when I google it. That’s part of the reason why I better make it different from MK-II and that Gunpla version.

  • http://gunota,info Jacques

    Gundam TR-6,Woundwort, is the MS that I liked best in the AoZ. If it was to be release in gunpla form, I will no doubt buy it straight away.

    Still wishfully hoping that Bandai will release the rest of the TR MS in AoZ soon, after all, it’s being so long since Harairoo was released.

  • http://www.bmecha.com B-Mecha

    @Jacques: Very unlikely for HGUC, but there is still hope for MG though.
