The latest 2011 Wonder Fest in Japan definitely gave many toy collectors a shock with all the new prototype and upcoming release of new toys. The damage is going to be huge for 2011. One of my favourite is the super buff upGurren Lagann action figure designed by Creative Union for its Riobot line.

The Gurren Lagann toys has been very active since the release of its movie Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann – Lagann Hen. Previously there are reissue from Kaiyodo Revoltech Gurren Lagann series and the very disappointing Composite Ver Ka Gurren Lagann. Among those that I saw before, only resin kit (a.k.a. GK) have better design but it will cost a bomb. I first encounter Riobot series where some Hong Kong toy collectors review the Riobot Delphine and it is great! Base on the design of the Gurren Lagann prototype we can expect very good finishing for this figure :D
