Few months ago I featured the Tamashii Shop Limited – Mazinkaizer SKL figure. Last night I posted some photos of my new loot Super Robot Chogokin Mazinkaizer SKL (Skull) Starter Pack on Facebook. The Mazinkaizer SKL episode 1 – Death Caprice DVD is included together with the figure itself. Before I post the actual review, which can be few days later, let me share some of the photos of the new ass kicking Mazinkaizer taken with my phone (LX-3 camera’s battery died).

Super Robot Chogokin Mazinkaizer SKL Sneak Peak
Initially I didn’t pre-order the starter pack since it is Tamashii Shop limited. Until the release date of the Super Robot Chogokin Mazinkaizer SKL (few days earlier), there are quite a few Super Robot Chogokin reviews and “poisonous” photos of it circulating in my toy info sources (I shared them on my Facebook page). Eventually the Mazinkaizer SKL temptation grows stronger day after day.
The critical hit is on yesterday while I’m visiting my favourite toy shop in China Square Central during lunch break. Accidentally saw the white packaging of Super Robot Chogokin Mazinkaizer SKL (Skull) Starter Pack… As you can see, it is instant kill and this is my second most expensive toy I ever bought in 2010 (No.1 is Max Alloy Mazinkaiser, bought it earlier this year).
After gotten the starter pack, I watched the Mazinkaizer SKL episode 1 – Death Caprice DVD immediately and submit my soul to the Violent Emperor Mazinkazer SKL (They call it Mazinkaizer Skull in the anime). Be aware that the DVD is actually Region 2 (Japan) and it doesn’t have any subtitle. Unlike any other Mazinger series, it emphasize on 1 VS many (the whole army) with its intense fire power and high speed movement. It kinda resembles the movement in Getter series. Nonetheless, the whole episode is all about fight, blood, kill and death.
To my surprise, there are quite a few pretty girls in the anime and I really like them :D. The scariest thing is actually the mass produced Aphrodite A… but no breast missile scene though. That’s the only disappointment of the episode 1 of Mazinkaizer SKL anime.

Happy New Year 2011!
Just in case I wouldn’t be online later tonight or tomorrow, Happy New Year 2011 to everyone!!! 2010 is definitely a struggle year for me with lots of uncertainty and changes happening to my personal life (and my toy collection too). We definitely must live our life to the fullest and don’t let suffering get into our way. The darker the night, the closer the dawn. Spring will always come after the long winter. Good fortune to everyone! :D
