This Weissritter from SRW OG is one of my Super Robot Chogokin collection that I have posted on BMecha Facebook Page. The photos were taken quite some time ago, together with a few other toys. FYI I’m no longer staying in Singapore because of work.
About the Super Robot Chogokin Weissritter
When I unbox the SRC Weissritter, it is not as bad as I thought. I read some reviews where Hong Kong collectors were saying it is kinda dull compare to Alteisen. From what I see, Bandai did use LESS metal parts on Weissritter, however I like the paint job better than Alt. The colour is consistent; the parts are sharp so it won’t look toy-ish.
The overall view Super Robot Chogokin version of Weissritter looks slim and fit. At the same time the back pack and the wings make it looks bigger. As usual I’m quite satisfied with the SRC joint, the tightness are just nice. There are some minor articulations for the wings, which allow the owner to tilt the direction of the wing to create dynamic flying post. I’ll take that as a plus.
The long riffle is great stuff but it can take quite space due its length.
This figure does have a few cons. The head antenna and wings are quite fragile. I doubt it can stand a fall. Luckily Bandai provides 2 soft head antennas so remember to change before you start playing. Overall there are quite a few sharp parts and I got poked quite a few times.
Since now I don’t have much toys with me, I’m going to dig my photo library for some toy photo shoot update. Currently because of work I’m located in Brunei Darussalam, a small country at the 12 oclock direction of Borneo island. I’ll need some time to settle down before meeting up with the local anime community :D. Anyone can tell me the toy shops in Brunei?
