Today had a fun toy hunt with Chubbybots and Heathorn. But before that… a long trip in bus during peak hour is seriously bad for my stomach. Tortured for almost an hour… however I managed to meet both of them “safe” without puking “all-out”.
I met both of them at China Square Central for visiting the toy shops. Too bad we didn’t get what we want although we had a lot of fun conversation about anime and mecha. But the fun part actually starts when we are in Ah Mei cafe and have our lunch.
During the Prata Lunch

Tachikoma: THIS IS PRAAATAAAAA!!!!
Tachikoma: Prata prata prata prata prata prata prata prata prata …
Chub: Shoo shoo, this is mine
Chubbybots’s loot, a sci-fi model spacecraft book.
For an hour plus we had good chat on the new Gunpla and the plamo techniques. Another thing in common is that 3 of us love Full Metal Panic Fumoffu a lot! Go Sentai High School Ruby Team! Kill Kill Kill!
After the meal, Heathorn need to go first and both chub and I continue the toy hunt at Plaza Singapura. The crowd is great there… Chub is looking for Nendoroid and I’m checking the mecha there. But we end up not buying anything again xD. I guess we do not buy on impulse, older man need to spend money wisely =P
After Chub left, I visited Hobby Point and bought 2 Gundam kits and Mr Colour Leveling Thinner. Last night when I was painting my SD Zaku Warrior, the paint just dry up damn fast and causes many brush stroke. Hopefully the thinner can tackle this problem >__<.
My Loots
HGUC RX-78-2 Gundam ver G30th, RX-121-2A Gundam TR-1 Advanced Hazel and a bottle of Leveling Thinner.
I was looking for my favourite Advance of Z series for quite some time. I just opened the Advanced Hazel and the amount of parts is amazing xD. RX-78-2 Gundam is to enter the Rock Lee Lotus’s Gundam group build project. It is going to be Titan colour scheme . Will make WIP post when I start building it.
This is definitely a fun trip and had very good sharing from 2 experienced gunpla modeller. Let us organize more outing like this one in the future. Time for more Gunpla! Rawr!
